Brittany Steele graduated from Oregon State University with a Master’s of Science in Agricultural Education this past June.  In June of 2014, Brittany earned her B.S. degree in Agricultural Sciences with a minor in Animal Science. Through her college experience, Brittany had the opportunity to intern with the Oregon Farm Bureau, Oregon Dairy Products Commission, and State Representative Weidner’s office.

Brittany has always been passionate about advancing public awareness in agricultural practices and stewardship of land to aid in preservation of tradition and the viability of resources for future generations. Her interest in agriculture has stemmed from her families diverse agricultural pursuits that include dairy farming, raising heifers, and growing crops.

Brittany was actively involved in 4-H with her horse and dairy cattle projects. She continues to raise a small herd of Milking Shorthorn and enjoys showing them at the Oregon State Fair. Aside from Brittany’s agricultural endeavors she relishes the opportunity to go to the mountains for a weekend filled with riding her orange snowmobile. Brittany looks forward to serving the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association as their new administrative assistant.
