The Oregon Cattlemen’s Stewardship Fund (OCSF) is a public charitable organization (IRS Section 501(C) 3), which supports, provides, and encourages education, training, and research in the field of agriculture, as well as funding legal defense for cattle industry interests.

The OCSF supports a competitive scholarship program that is available to OCA members and their families. Since 2006, 19 college students from across the state have been awarded scholarships totaling over $16,000.

OCSF has been proactive in defending the cattle industry by providing a significant contribution in support of the Western Resources Legal Center (WRLC), the nation’s first clinical internship program and only hands-on training program specializing in legal advocacy for natural resource users by assisting with the legal representation of ranchers and other natural resource dependent entities.

OCSF continues to support the intervention of several precedent setting lawsuits in order to protect Oregon ranchers’ public land grazing permits and their ability to continue doing business as livestock producers.

OCSF has been a partner in protecting water rights through contributions to the Resource Conservancy, a non-profit organization, which represents the interests of Upper Klamath Basin (off-Project) irrigators.

OCSF sponsors educational opportunities across the state for the benefit of cattle producers and natural resource users.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE GENEROUSLY DONATED TO THE OCSF. IT IS ONLY WITH YOUR HELP THAT WE ARE ABLE TO CONTINUE PROVIDING SUPPORT IN THESE AND MANY OTHER IMPORTANT AREAS.
